Enjoy riding and don't take everything so serious.
Although I have been a rider for many years, being in this group often makes me take a closer look at what I'm doing when I ride. Come to find out the reason I don't realize a lot of the problems I hear some people complaining about is because I'm great at ignoring stuff. Now you would think men would be great at this seeing how many ignore their wives, and vice versa, but some how when they are on their motorcycle everything becomes a national emergency worthy of an assault on a fellow individual. Let me make this perfectly clear, there is nothing that can happen to you on a motorcycle that requires a violent or confrontational response. Forget all this cursing, kicking cars, brandishing weapons and acting like a child that couldn't get their new toy. I expect things to happen, that's why I prepare myself the best I can to deal with them. Don't let your emotions get the best of you. Your emotions can get you hurt or worse. Incidents happen, you should expect them and handle them maturely. I have become so good at blowing things off I don't even recognize they happened. I take my motorcycle out to enjoy it, not to complain and have a hissy fit over everything that happens during my ride. IT'S NOT THAT SERIOUS! At the end of the day I'm safe and made it back home and that's all that matters. I'll get to ride another day.
You may be new or inexperienced riders but because you chose to be here means you're looking to be the best you can at riding. I trust you're smart enough to recognize the good from the bad advice and opinions and go the proper route. Hearing and seeing the inappropriate responses and bad advice can help you make a better decision to control any situation before it gets out of hand because you will recognize it when you see it. Have fun, be safe.
