Should you DIY or buy it already customized?

There is no right answer here. Both routes have their advantage. When you buy a motorcycle already customized you save yourself a lot of time and money due to the fact that a customized motorcycle is generally worth less, especially to the dealer. A customize bike has to suit the right person so resale is generally harder because you have to find the right person looking for a motorcycle with those mods. Also with a modded bike you need to make sure the mods were done right and the motorcycle is safe to ride.

Now if you decide to do it yourself just be warned that when you go to sell it, you may find it harder to sell and you may get less money for it. There is nothing like a motorcycle that says you and doing it yourself says that, unless you completely copied someone else design. It just feels right when you look at it and ride it. There's always that sense of pride knowing that you did it.

So you see, DIY or buying already customized is purely a personal decision that only you can make. Either way make sure you're capable of doing the work correctly if you DIY or if you buy a motorcycle already done make sure the work was done correctly.
